Crescent Valley High Team 955: Rapid Rule Process
In order to be able to respond quickly to the needs of the team, I have proposed a rule making process which can work quickly.
There will be a steering committee. That body will have ultimate control over the rules. But it is expected that that body will take many weeks to respond to the needs of the team. The rule making structure below will allow rules to be put in place quickly. As the steering committee comes up with new structures, those can replace the rules implemented by this process.
- Anyone may propose a rule change to the mentors mailing list.
- If there is no objection, feedback, or discussion after 3 days (72 hours), then that rule change will be instated.
- Any such rule can be revisited by a meeting of the steering committee. The steering committee can change, revise, revoke, or leave it unchanged.
- Rule changes can also be created at steering committee meetings. Such rules can be instated without a 3 day waiting period.
