This year we focussed on improving the Tadpole/Spinner, on training, and on
Sojourner, our new (black) project. I will say no more
Sojourner until 2006.

Of course, we couldn't leave well enough alone. We took the Tadpole apart and rebuilt it.

As an experiment we mounted a portable drill motor to the Tadpole and powered it from a sealed lead acid battery. It wasn't very effective, but it was able to move me around without pedaling.
