While we were unloading the trailer in Portland I noticed this squirrel trying many times to carry that bit of trash up into the tree. I guess it smelled like good.

As usual we didn't have enough people to fill the seats. We recruited some people we met there, Steve and Grace. The young girl is Ellie, and came with others in our group. She is an old timer at the Kinetic Sculpture races since her parents have been involved forever.

After we got home, at a convenient time, the tire exploded.
