The Class

The construction class was organized over two days in February. It featured short lectures by many local builders. In addition there were "war stories", general discussions on our experiences. Some time was also set aside to look at the sculptures that people had brought.

	Mellisa Boyd showed off FishBert.

	Rex. I've taken off the TimeRex and XMasRex decorations but haven't started on the RexFiles decorations yet.
	This is a prototype Tomato. It is a good illustration of what several veteran builders said: make one or more models of the vehicle you are planning. You save money and time and find problems early. In this case an electric drill runs the vehicle forward. A crank applies differential motion to the wheels, causing the whole thing to turn.

	People in the class were given the chance to drive several of the sculptures.
